Clap, Clap…”Done”.

Complete. Finished. Final. Over. Done.

It is all over. I’m back. Well, I’m almost back I’m still in Nashville sitting with Michelle at her house. We arrived safely to the Brentwood Kroger a little after 7am. Michelle’s friend picked us up and we said goodbye to everyone. It wasn’t too tough saying goodbye to be honest, mostly because I feel like I’ll see them again soon. And also, because it’s just time to say goodbye for a while. When you live with someone for three months in VERY close quarters, you get to know and love them dearly, but after a while… it’s time to split for a bit. ☺ And that’s what we are doing. I didn’t really like saying goodbye to Jerrad because he lives in L.A. and that isn’t near Memphis… I’m just saying… ☺

Yesterday was a great final day of shows. I woke up early and after really waking up I became energetic and excited about the day. It really started to hit me that the tour was over because we really started talking about “lasts”, and what to get done before we got home. It was fabulous though, that our final show day was at a great theatre in Indiana. Although a bit of an anti-climatic city to be in, the theatre was great! The stage and wing space was probably the largest we have had yet. It was so huge! The audience wasn’t the largest but we still had good audience’s. The first show flew by and was completed efficiently and beautifully. We all had a good time in our last “in-between shows” time, we took lots of pictures and enjoyed each other’s company.

The last show was more than uneventful. We had two pauses in the show because of a “costume malfunction” with Archie, Shannon, Michelle and I (mostly Shanahnah) had to do a bit of Veggie style improve to stall for a few minutes. That was fun…haha.

This a greatly blurry but good picture of us in mid motion during Jericho, from left to right is Jerrad, Troy, Brandon, Shannon and me.

This is us in the lobby of one of our dear Hampton Inn's (I can’t even tell you how many of those I have been in… I have grown to love them greatly, really cool shower curtains too.) the morning of our Disney World adventure day. Brandon, Michelle, Jerrad and me.

Rojo?

Jerrad and I were really excited about Disney so we left everyone and went out on our own, we pretty much had an all day Disney date. He had two “cast passes” so he got me in for free (also thanks to Christian!), so super nice! So here we are standing at the entrance to the “happiest place on earth”…also the “4th greatest place one earth” (thank you mr. Belton Texas).

P.H. Balance (Jerrad) and I with two wonderful “people”! I love this picture!

Bird, duck thing in Animal Kingdom, our first stop of the day.

This is us in “Tough to be a bug”, Crys and I next to a very large “wooden” carved monkey.

Crystalyn and I happy to be eating cotton candy at MGM studios.

Crystalyn, me and Jerrad in "It's Tough to be a Bug" at Disney World...nice glasses ay?

Jerrad and Shannon being oh so photogenic at Planet Hollywood Orlando.

One of our MANY rides to our shower rooms, and one of the many times we were making faces at each other.

Me, Michelle, Brandonian and Kyle in San Antonio after seeing the Lion King… This is the Lion sign that apparently defines a welcome or something like that. “Hello Simba, Hello Nala”

_____
These are all of the people that came to see me during the tour. I think you may have seen some of these already, but here you go again, these are my friends.

Mama and Papa in Van Buren

Mom and Dad in Florida (a huge surprise!)

Ty, Les and Aevyn in Colorado Springs

Amber in Jackson, MS. She didn’t see the show because we had a stop over in Jackson but I hung out with Hodges and Amber for a few hours that day and it was good times.

This is us in Knoxville at a very challenging show. This picture was taken during intermission. And we are all in nice costumes, mostly our blacks as you can see.

This is my lovely cast on our bus a few nights ago. I sure do love these people. I miss you guys already!

I feel like this experience has been one of the greatest of my life. It's been difficult, and wonderful and challenging and all sorts of emotional moments. But honestly, there weren't many low lows, just a lot of highs. There were a lot wonderful moments with the people i lived with. The show was hilarious and painful (on my body). The bus was a blast and sometimes a little hard to sleep but mostly just great. The cast became my best friends who at times i "disliked greatly" and at other times couldn't love any more, but mostly just loved them. The crew showed me a "new side of life", in other words they really were entertaining, sometimes not in a good way, but they were cool. :-) My body is hurting and exhausted. My mind is full of new thoughts on life. My relationship with God is full and changing. I don't exactly know what God has ahead of me but i know it's good and it is what's right for me. I'm seeing the goodness of the journey (not just the finish) in my life.

To all of you out there who have prayed for me throughout this tour, thank you. To all of you who i have not talked to in a while, hello and i look forward to hearing what God has done in your lives. I will continue to add more things to this website throughout the future, so come back soon. And make sure everyone checks out my beautiful baby niece on tylernewberry.com.

I love you guys. I love Veggie Tales. I love the road. But it's time to be home for now.

Peace, love and gourds.

80 something down - one 1/2 to go

I can't believe this tour is almost over. It's amazing to see what i have accomplished in the past few months, the states i have entered and exited and everything in between. I know that you are eager to hear more because i have slacked on my recent news, but busy would be an understatement.. also internet access as been pretty rare the past few days, among other things. but do not worry, within the next two days you will have a page that is full of pictures and stories of the recent shows. I look forward to seeing you guys and hearing all the new things that have happened in your life. I will update soon so hold tight.
